Participated in exhibitions in Canada and abroad. Grants from The Canada Council and Ontario Arts and Crafts Councils. Adjudicator for various fibre art exhibitions in Canada and the USA.
Teaching : Workshops include: Callaway School of Needle Arts, Georgia; The Council of American Embroiderers (2-week study retreats); Fibreworks, Kingston; Canadore College, North Bay; Metchosin International Summer School for The Arts, Vancouver Island; Quilt Canada (in Ottawa and Vancouver);
Embroiderers' Association of Canada; Sheridan College, Oakville; Textile Art Guild of Michigan; Textile Alliance of the Cleveland Museum; teaching/lecture tour throughout Australia and New Zealand resulting in 24 workshops; summer courses at the Haliburton School of The Arts since 1981.
SKILLS : Various fabric collage workshops on different themes; combinations of mixed media techniques; machine embroidery; emphasis on colour and design; sources of inspiration. A list of workshop descriptions can be obtained upon request.
FEES : Workshop fee is $ 400.00 per day (for 6 hours) Slide show/presentation $300.00.
Two-day workshops are prefered, but will adjust content to one-day class if that is the amount of time available.
TRAVEL : Will travel anywhere by train, bus or air, providing travel expenses are reimbursed.

Comments : I enjoy developing new workshops, especially when themes are connected with the focus of my own work. With a fascination for many visual art forms and a passion for colour, teaching feeds my own ideas and insights, and satisfies a natural desire to share these with others to nurture confidence, enthusiasm and above all, the imagination.
