In 1980 I began quilting in the traditional manner and by the mid-1980s began making art quilts. I have a Diploma in Art and Interior Design from Georgian College and an Honours Degree in Visual Arts from York University. My recent work combines stitching and quilting techniques to create whimsical landscapes and dolls. NOTE : We are hoping to move to Vancouver Island, British Columbia in summer 2007. SKILLS : Lectures on : colour, design, themes-art quilts (slide, trunk show)
FEES : $ 150.00 for Lectures, plus travel expenses. $ 200.00 for full-day Workshops, plus travel expenses, food and accommodation, as necessary. TRAVEL : Yes, will travel to local areas (Mississauga, Toronto, etc.).
