We are off to a spectacular start. As of today, we have 37 members. We have a new meeting place in Whitby - Perry Terrace.
In September we saw what our members had accomplished over the summer.
In October Carol and her team showed us how to make a 3D berry for a Hallowe'en piece. It was great watching the berries pop.
In November we had a presentation by Kathy Wylie who uses appliqué and embroidery to embellish her quilt designs. It was amazing to see her quilts come to life and her creativity. We were all quite blown away.
In December we will be having our annual Christmas ornament exchange and potluck. The ornaments are handmade needlework designs, and I'm sure we'll see some spectacular ones again this year.
A very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all of our Guilds.
May you have lots of time to stitch and create in 2012!!
