Exhibit at The Mill, St. Jacobs - May, 2010

We spent last week (May 24, 2010) at The Mill in St. Jacobs, Ontario,
displaying some of our embroidery with CEG Guelph.
We had a wonderful air-conditioned room and were very comfortable.

Most of the visitors were in St. Jacobs to attend the week-long Quilt & Fibre Festival,
with visitors from nearby as well as from around the world.
Several visitors went on to visit Threadworks and some past members dropped in to say "Hello".

The quilts on the wall are on permanent display.

Some of the CD entries can be seen on the right-hand side of the table.

See the little chickadee underneath the petitpoint scene?
It received the third most votes at the Annual ONN Meeting Challenge.
The challenge was to fill a CD case with a piece of embroidery.
The stitcher has taken her piece out of the CD case and framed it beautifully.

This picture shows some of the CD cases the Guelph stitchers entered in the ONN Challenge.
One of their members' pieces received the second most viewers' choice prize.
There were more than 150 entries.
